All About CLAMP

Has been a while since the last promised update and finally we can take a look at that nice CLAMP art book that I bought a while back. The "All About CLAMP" as implied is a relatively comprehensive compilation of most of CLAMP's works to date (No Gate 7), the book features collections of official art from various medias ranging from anime adverts, magazines to works from CLAMP.

Madoka Magica Movie, Official Guidebook "With You"

Been dropping by Kinokuniya in the city recently in search of something interesting, with money to spend, had a look around and ended up getting myself some nice awesome goodies.

Being a lover of art illustrations and a fan of Puella Magi Madoka Magica and works from CLAMP I just couldn't pass up on getting these two books. The first being a nice illustrations guide to the first two Madoka movies and the second a comprehensive book on all of CLAMP's works. For now I will just focus on the Madoka guide book and do CLAMP's for another time.

Lets Make a New Effort?

It has been a long time since I had last posted on this relatively 'untouched', and 'unknown' website that I called a 'blog' and perhaps this short post after a long time will change this. Like all new beginners in the blogging world we all started out with a shared aspiration to create something unique that we could call our own, a blog where we could express our own thoughts, ideals and interests. Maybe it was an inspiration from successful model blogger who had garnered a wide community and system around their success, such that they're 'giants' among the social community and we ourselves would like to have our own. Or perhaps for others it was a way to deal with the boredoms of life and its challenges, being able to express one's self to relieve stresses; to adopt a new perspective and a way at looking at the world, I certainly believed that blogging encourages people to look at different things in different ways and to find new perspective from other people. What ever the reason we all agreed that there are many reasons that people wanted to start their own blog.

Touhou 12.8 - Fairy Wars

Recently ZUN released his latest Touhou game, Touhou 12.8 - Fairy Wars at Comiket 78. Which featured Cirno the ice fairy as playable character as well as the "three fairies" from the manga "Oriental Sacred Place/Strange and Bright Nature Deity" as bosses. The game seems to be a buildup of ideas developed from ZUN's previous games, Shoot the Bullet and Double Spoilers as well as mesh between the usual danmaku stage game play style.

SMASH 2010

If you're an anime fans out there living in Ausland particularly in Sydney, I'm sure that you would all know about the anime convention  SMASH - Sydney Manga and Anime Show. This year's convention at Sydney Townhall featured awesome guests from both the US and Japan, with the prime theme of the guest list on the anime Neon Genesis Evangelion. The list featured Yuko Miyamura and Tiffany Grant, the English and Japanese seiyuus of Asuka  Langley as well as the English dub director Matt Greenfield.

The convention featured quite a range of different stands from figure shops, manga bookstores to magazine signup. As well as a gaming area which I personally didn't find very interesting, since  they were pretty much common console games with no real exclusives.

Intro Into The Blogging World

This is my first ever blog post and I would like to admitted that I m current kind of really unsure of what type of focus this blog should really be. Since this IS my first ever blog, this will or may likely be a platform for me to experiment and learn new things on web design and the world of blogging.

So therefore there may not be any real topic of focus for this blog and would likely be host of various topics that this beginner would like to express.

I hoped that my intro to the blogging world would be an enlightening and rewarding experience.
